Moria Museum

Moria Museum is a unique physical exhibition and digital installation designed to tell the incredible story of refugees on Lesvos: from 1922 to 2022. 

The Museum will be developed as a physical and digital exhibition based on the Unprepared for Moria book but expanded to include artefacts from Moria camp. It will furthermore include a gallery and gift shop showcasing the art, crafts and agricultural products of Moria Academy graduates and our local Greek Friends of Moria Academy community. 

Moria Museum will be developed in partnership with the local community of Moria. We hope this project will help to bring a healthy flow of visitors and tourists back to Moria as we seek to celebrate together the rich culture and historic generosity of this extraordinary people and place.
